Pilates

What is Pilates?

A series of specific exercises aimed at helping to restore and improve your body’s muscle balance and posture.

A combination of stretching and core strengthening techniques that can be taught individually or in a group setting.

Suitable for all ages.

One on one sessions, small groups and classes along with an online library are available.

  • Pilates assessments: This is a Pre requisite if you have not attended one of Kate’s classes before. If you are only accessing the Pilates library online a questionnaire will be sent prior to you starting this to ensure you are safe.

  • Pilates one on one sessions available at both Kate’s home clinic in Cashmere and Active Health, St Albans, and clinical Reformer Pilates sessions at only Active Health.

  • Pilates clinical rehabilitation following specific injuries, often referred from sports doctor or specialist. Detailed home exercises online programme sent to you using Physiotec APP.

  • Pilates online library: Online recordings of varying length for those of you that would like to keep active from the comfort of your home. Classes sometimes use small equipment or your own bodyweight, and are categorized into different areas all in an online library. Membership options available for this.
